Squam

I'm hesitant to write about my time at Squam.  I think this is because I want so badly to still be there experiencing the wonderfulness of it as opposed to reflecting upon it as one does after something is over.  So, briefly I'll just say that it truly was the best time of my life.  I made wonderful new friends.  I learned from the most incredible teachers.  I found new and exciting ways to express the conceptual ideas within my artwork.  I saw a fox, and a luna moth that brought tears to my eyes, and heard a loon on the lake.

I was so scared to go but now I feel brave.  And excited for what my future as a creator holds.

Although I purposefully didn't bring my camera so that I would remain present in the moment (I often hide behind my lens) I did snap some shots with my iphone.

Thank you, Squam.

xoxo Jennifer

  2. Squam seems such a wonderful place. Just saw Maya (mayamade.com) briefly today, but haven't had the chance to talk just yet. Your beautiful pictures just me in a quiet mood. And I needed that.

  3. Your pictures really capture the beauty of Squam. I've been putting off finishing my unpacking myself since I've been pack, and like you speaking little of it. I want to cling to the feeling of it for as long as possible.
